Chamber to Host Bedford City/County Town Hall Meeting
A town-hall style meeting is scheduled at the Main Picnic Shelter at Liberty Lake Park on Thursday, June 20 at Noon. The meeting will allow our elected officials to discuss the issues that are important to our community, including the reversion and plans for future growth and development.
The Town Hall meeting is open to the general public. Attendees will meet the elected officials who represent Bedford City and County on a local level while learning about the issues that affect the Bedford Community.
A moderated question and answer period will follow opening remarks and will provide an opportunity for attendees to have their questions answered. Questions may be submitted in advance on a form, provided upon request by calling the Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce at 540-586-9401. Question cards will be available at the event.
Invited speakers include Mayor Robert Wandrei, Bedford City Council Members and Bedford County Board of Supervisors.
Liberty Lake Park is located at 939 Burks Hill Road. The event is sponsored by AEP and is open to the public for participation. Seating is limited and advance registration is required. Contact the Chamber office at 540-586-9401 ext. 102 by June 17 to make your reservation.
