Join us on Saturday, October 19 as we clean up the Town of Bedford’s parks, streets & neighborhoods!
This is a great way to get outside and give back to our community. It's also an impactful way to earn service hours or do team building!
This event will run from 8AM to 11AM, although participants are welcome to start or finish anytime during those hours. Simply pick up your materials at the Municipal Building, head out to your clean-up location, and return to the Municipal Building to drop off your materials and pick up your prizes!
This event is free and open to the public. Groups who RSVP are able to choose their clean-up location prior to arrival; simply enter where you'd like to go in the "Comments" section. First come, first serve to individuals and groups who walk-in.
About Keep Bedford Beautiful
The Keep Bedford Beautiful Commission was formed in 1978 by the Town of Bedford and has won recognition from the Division of Litter Control and Keep Virginia Beautiful over the years. Historically, KBBC has held one fall clean-up event and one spring clean-up event, in addition to a myriad of other relevant programming over the years. Anyone is welcome to join the KBBC to assist with the planning and execution of initiatives. Contact Mary Zirkle at mzirkle@bedfordva.gov if interested in learning more.
